We are looking for a Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Organising and coordinating daily production activities in accordance with the production plan;

• Leading, supporting and motivating production employees within the assigned team;

• Allocating tasks and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and on time;

• Monitoring production processes, output, quality and adherence to established standards;

• Ensuring that production targets, delivery deadlines and key performance indicators are achieved;

• Coordinating the availability of materials, equipment and personnel required for production;

• Providing training, guidance and support to new and existing team members;

• Monitoring attendance, shift coverage and employee performance;

• Identifying and resolving operational issues and production deviations;

• Communicating relevant information between production, warehouse, maintenance, quality and management teams;

• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, quality and internal company procedures;

• Participating in continuous improvement activities and proposing improvements to production processes;

• Preparing production records, reports and other required documentation.

We expect you to have:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or an industrial environment;

• Previous experience leading a production team or coordinating employees will be an advantage;

• Good organisational and leadership skills;

• A responsible, reliable and solution-oriented approach to work;

• The ability to make decisions and respond effectively to changing priorities;

• Good communication and interpersonal skills;

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;

• Good computer skills and the ability to work with production or business systems;

• Willingness to work in shifts, where required;

• Good written and spoken English.

Experience and qualifications:

• Completed secondary education; a technical qualification is an advantage;

• Experience in production supervision, manufacturing operations or team leadership;

• Knowledge of production processes, quality requirements and workplace safety;

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures;

• Experience with continuous improvement methods, 5S or lean manufacturing will be an advantage;

• Experience with production planning or ERP systems will be an advantage.
